Guardians of Life for More Than 12 Years
For more than a decade, we have dedicated our work to restoring ecosystems, protecting forests, planting trees, recovering degraded territories, and promoting biodiversity conservation in Colombia.
Our mission has always been the same:
protect life.
Restore forests.
Conserve biodiversity.
And create permanent refuges for the species that share this planet with us.
Throughout these years, we have worked directly in the field, learning from territories, communities, ecosystems, and the real challenges nature faces.
Our passion for biodiversity has taught us a fundamental truth:
protecting a tree is important.
Protecting a forest is extraordinary.
But protecting entire ecosystems is one of the most powerful ways to secure life on Earth.
That is why we deeply believe in the creation of Private Nature Reserves (RNSC), biological corridors, and territories dedicated to permanent conservation.
Because when a territory is protected forever, thousands of forms of life find a safe home.
Birds occupy a very special place within our mission.
Not only because Colombia is home to the greatest diversity of birds on Earth.
But because birds represent ecological health, natural balance, and hope for the future.
Where birds thrive, there is usually water.
Forest, pollinators, life.
For this reason, Guardians of the Nest was created as an international extension of our mission.
An initiative designed to connect conscious individuals around the world with the opportunity to help protect some of the most biodiverse and extraordinary territories on Earth.
We feel deeply honored to work alongside people who share values such as:
love for nature
respect for life
environmental responsibility
long-term vision
and commitment to future generations.
We do not seek quantity.
We seek Guardians.
People who understand that protecting biodiversity is not merely an environmental action.
It is an ethical decision.
A responsibility toward the Earth.
A way of expressing gratitude for life itself.
Some forests will disappear forever.
Others will continue filling with birdsong, life, and biodiversity because someone chose to protect them.
Every Nest created through Guardians of the Nest becomes part of a larger vision.
A vision where forests remain standing.
Where water continues flowing.
Where birds continue finding refuge.
And where future generations inherit a world that is richer in life, not poorer.
We believe the most extraordinary conservation stories are not written by institutions alone.
They are written by people.
People who choose to act.
People who choose to protect.
People who choose to leave something meaningful behind.
Because protecting biodiversity is not simply about saving nature.
It is about protecting the living systems that make our own lives possible.
And perhaps the greatest legacy any person can leave is knowing that long after they are gone, life continues flourishing because of a decision they made.
That is the mission we serve.
And that is the future we invite Guardians to help create.

Guardians of the Nest is not an idea created overnight.
It is the natural evolution of more than a decade of hands-on conservation work carried out by Fundación Ambiental Más Árboles Más Vida.
For over 12 years, we have worked directly in the field restoring ecosystems, protecting forests, planting trees, conserving biodiversity, and creating opportunities for nature to recover and thrive.
Every Nest is supported by that experience.
Every sanctuary is guided by that commitment.
